Zeek and Isis, Ipo and OT-DL beware!

medyssa Jul 03, 2007 12:56 PM

So I have gotten a few requests in the past to show you guys my male holdback from my first litter last year. Fortunately he just shed and I was able to take some really cool pictures of him outside, they are a bit blue because it was so bright out but you can get an idea of the huge contrast he has between the circles on his back and the background surrounding them and his crescents. His sides also turn white in the evening, but I dont have a picture of it yet.
So here goes...

And his sister ISIS, a little less spectacular but still a gorgeous big girl, she weighs about 230g.

And an OT Alligator Lizard that my MOM caught in the garden, theyre nasty little things but she didn't have a problem with it at all! *sheds a tear* Shes growing up to be just like me.
[img]http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/data/92668alligatorlizard.jpg[img]

AND!!!! My newest addition (and last according to my mom...haha yah right!) A male Pacific Parrotlet, his name is Ipo, which is sweetheart or lover in Hawaiian, he is about 4 inches tall and will get only a tiny bit bigger. He's about the most adorable thing that I have ever had!
[img]http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/data/92668Ipo.jpg[img]

Also, to update, I think Copper and Cherry might be gravid, although they are both still eating a little, they are fattening up in the middle. Here's hoping to some late litters this year.
(Dave do you know off the top of your head if Cherry would get "cranky" when she was gravid?) My mom also found my missing adult male BRB Dude.
Anyway hope you all have a great day, as I am. Its gorgeous outside and I am still in my pajamas inside. YAY!

I was looking at some examples that Dave had posted on how to do it and I guess I just missed it. Thanks for fixing it!

Your pictures didn't show up so I hope you don't mind me helping out.

I like the contrast on that one BRB... way cool. The dark background is neat. Your bird is lovely too!

So I won't do it also

I like your male, so dark and contrasty. Looks like color is just waiting to explode out...

Cool OT pix as well.
