Here are a few photos of my favorites.

The first photo is of a 2004 Female lavender Sunglow.

The second photo is of a 2005 male EBV Hypo Red Group.

The third photo is of a female hypo het for sunglow along with the male red group hypo shown in the second photo.

I wish you all a happy fourth....

I'm sorry to hear about your bird. I can't imagine how tough that experience must have been.

I agree, all three very nice looking snakes but what about the Albino Motley. I've seen at least three of the four for sure (maybe not the DH sunglow) and thet Albino Motley is stunning. Of course the lavender sunglow is no slouch either!!

Brian,

I love that sunglow. Something very different about her color.

Hey Brian I was kind of hoping to see the Albino Motley myself but that red group is nice but for some reason I couldn't stop looking at that double het though, beautiful collection of buddies and where did you get that sunglow from if you don't mind me asking

The sunglow was originally bred by Rich Ihle.

That's a cool appearance, do you know what's different about those sunglows that you get the color in those spaces? mark

fgs Jul 04, 2007 12:01 PM

Mark:

I don't think anyone really knows what's going on to produce the lavender effect.

I've talked to John at Salmon Boas.com and he told me that he and Rich have a male sunglow with simalar coloration. What has me really excited is not just the color of her skin, but the color of her eyes. I have another female sunglow that has the standard sunglow eye. The difference betweeen the color of their eyes is like night and day.

I hope to breed her in 2008 and will let you all know if I am able to reproduce the effect.

Have a great 4th.
