After reading some of the replies to my wax worm post, I wen into my dad's yard and collected several wild invertebrates.

I usually feed my little three-toed in a coffee can. When I put one in, there was already one fast moving insect in it. The little box waited for the insect to stop moving, and "he" tried to catch it with his mouth and missed. Then I dropped in bunch more fast-moving inverts, and he just gave up with all the critters moving around him at fast speed. He did his thing that tells he he's done: he started putting his front claws against the inside of the can and looked up.

If I do it again, I will only try one invert at a time
