antialex41 Jul 04, 2007 01:35 AM

Hi
I will like to know if anyone could help me out.
I know someone that is selling 2 cuban iguanas that someone sold him as babies here in PR, the thing is that the ones he haves are different than the ones I see here in PR at the zoo or in the wild (the orange-rust ones)is there by any chance more than one type of cuban iguana coloration or what this guy is selling are hybrids you let me know the pics are very bad but the only ones I got.
The good looking one is from one I took at the zoo.
Thanks for your time guys

THE POPULATION OF C.I. IN PR ARE VERY TYPICAL CYCLURA NUBILA EVERYWHERE. THE TOP PIC YOU POSTED IS AN ADULT AND THE 2 FADED PICS APPEAR TO BE JUVENILES. THEY WILL GO THRU AN OCTOGENETIC COLOR CHANGE AND END UP LOOKING MORE OR LESS LIKE THE ADULT. IF YOU SEND BETTER PICS I'LL TELL YOU FOR SURE. THANKS....TC

Thanks for the help its just that here in PR I seen some different iguanas all shapes and sizes all around like the cubans from tan to big gray ones and the banded ones.
But the one in the pics are lighter than the others I seen so far but you are the one with the knowledge on this guys so thanks for the help.
Another thing I heard here in PR is that the nubuila in cuba has a different coloration from the one here in PR.
If anybody knows anything about that let me know ,some pics will do great to.
Ill try to get some good pics of them so you see them individually.
Thanks !!!
