wish I had of been standing in that field with you
You know..... I was in a baseball field 2 weeks ago and a gopher snake came on the field. I picked it up and let some of the kids I was coaching and some of the other coaches handle it. I should have taken some "field" pics of that big handsome reptile too.
Nevertheless those are some good looking snakes in those "field" pics Bob

Hi Bob
Isn't the "field" just behind your house? I guess the "field" is synonymous to what we call our "backyard" from where you live, hehe. Lots of us just wishes that we have the natural photo studio that you have at your disposal. Definitely adds to your awesome pics. Take care.

Jonel:
While it's true that we have lots of natural studio possibilities here, we also have the constant threat of wildfires in summer and buzztails around the house (not to mention scorpions inside the house!). This guy, for example, was under my wife's car two nights ago.

But, it's all good.
Cheers,
Bob

Hi Bob
With recent wildfires in South Lake Tahoe I definitely don't blame you be a little concerned. The Crotes in and around your property is cool though it is very scary at the same time. Same with the scorpions. I once went to my friends parents place in urban Phoenix that was fumigated for bark scorpions a day prior our arrival. There were so many dead scorpions inside just their garage that it could probably fill a 1 gallon bucket. And this is in a nice gated community too and not just a house out in the desert. I can imagine what you deal with inside your house but I'm guessing you can do the same thing they did of have some precautions on dealing with your deadly neighbors.
Take care.
