My family wanted a BD for a long time so we answered an ad in a local classified.. little did we know we would be rescuing him!
We are told he is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old and was in a 30 gal tank, with just a regular 40 watt light bulb for heat/light. He is missing his right front claw/foot(we were told that it was from too many juveniles in one tank) I beleive he has been fed greens/crickets but not sure about vitamins. So with the help from this forum I have learned soo much and he is now getting what he DESERVES!! he is in a 55 gal tank with the correct basking/uv lights and a good diet. I have him scheduled next saturday with a vet for a checkup.. I believe he is healthy..he is very responsive and active. He is very loved and our family can't be happier to have him..
I really wanted to say thanks to everyone for a great forum!! and to show off "Charlie" I beleive he is a sandfire.
