My FL king stopped eating about 2 weeks ago. He normally eats weekly, sometimes twice.

He only eats FT mice (not rats) but i have tried both, different sizes, and even bought some FT from the pet store, thinking maybe the ones in my freezer are too old or something.

No change in temps (normal 74-75 day, 68 night. He has all the same hiding spots he's always had, plus underside heating in 1 corner. Everything is the same as it's been since i got him a year ago. He has never 'not eaten' before...he has always been very consistent.

He is definitely interested in smelling the food when i lay it down. He comes over really fast. But after a few minutes he then ignores it.

I also tried teasing him with the food...and he smells it, but then ignores it.

He is also very active now, always crawling around, just like he gets before he wants to eat.

No signs of shed yet.

Is this some sort of desire to breed response? He's never seen another snake, but wonder if maybe his breed instinct is kicking in.

Any ideas? I'm stumped.
