What should I do if my baby leo drops it's tail?? Any special setup? Thanks in advance!

What should I do if my baby leo drops it's tail?? Any special setup? Thanks in advance!

Just try to keep the enclosure clean, I'd use something like paper towels. Maybe some sort of light antibacterial, I don't know. I haven't had that happen, and I don't know anyone who has. I think that's about all you can do. Good luck.

ok, thank goodness it hasn't happened again, My adult dropped hers a long time ago because of the darn cat!! Now I have two hatchlings that I recently seperated but before that my albino male was trying to bite of my females tail! He would bite her all over! Anything that moves, he strikes at... It is crazy! I was afraid that by the time I got another tank, she wouldn't have a tail anymore... Got home just in time, they are safe and seperated now, both eating great and no more worries for me!
