Albino Genetic Stripe!!

BrandonBoeke Jul 04, 2007 11:35 PM

Here it is!! Finally............hope you enjoy!! The breeding was a double het to a double het, and I had 16 eggs. There was 2.2 genetic stripes 66% possible het albino, 2.1 dwarf albino 66% possible het genetic stripe, 0.1 Albino Genetic Stripe, and 4.4 possible double hets. She just came out, I'll take more pics when she sheds........

It took about three years to pull this off.......lots of waiting.......and it was all worth it!! My first retic clutch..........

Beautiful! I really like the look of stripes on any snake.
But this retic is really nice.

After all of the wait, it's finally here! Congrats, Brandon, that's an amazing feat that a few people have been reaching for, and you got it! Now the rest of us who are waiting for clutches have to get that more excited about hatching our own!! I can't wait, especially for a Lavender or Purple! Once again, huge congratulations!

And Genetic Striped is spelled with a d on the end of stripe

basically a double homozygous dwarf...definitely a first in the snake world of any species, regardless of the fact that she is the first albino striped retic ie: it will be a long time before anyone hatches out a dwarf albino supertiger....you musta done a lotta good in a past life...congrats brandon! a true, one of a kind, trophy snake to put alongside another trophy one-of-a-kind.....
i love seeing guys come from behind and score huge! way to go man!

Looks, brains, and venom . . . . how do I stay single?

I wished she had finished shedding when I saw her. I can't wait to see her again soon. You know that I am not a retic fan, but I love this girl.
