Carlsbad-Roswell area

coloradocrotalus Jul 05, 2007 12:44 PM

In about two weeks I'm hoping to head to Carlsbad and the Guadalope mountain areas to hopefully photograph some of the herps that I have never seen before.Just so everyone knows I do not collect(I'm not exactly opposed to it either) or share other herping spots that are not mine. I only photograph. Also feel free to contact me for any Colorado info on herps. Thank You. The species I'm hoping to find are:
Trans-Pecos Rat Snake
Western Hooknose Snake
Gray-banded Kingsnake, yeah right
Striped Whipsnake
Lyre Snake
Rock Rattlesnake
Blacktail Rattlesnake

Thanks

I live in west texas, run up that way often, if you want to add Splendida, long nose, and other stuff to your list i can point you in the right direction, if you want to make a 1.5 hour run south to me, ill show you lepidus, molossus, and possibly some alterna, and of course the Subocularis...
