I swapped snakes with a friend of mine about a month ago. Today he tells me that the snake I gave him laid eggs. That snake was kept alone as far as I can remember and so I'm wondering if cornsnakes can just lay unfertilized eggs. The eggs do look small, but they haven't all gone bad, a few have and others look firm, so perhaps I forgot that I let the girl hang with the others while I cleaned her cage? I think I would have noticed. In any case, if babies are born, do I have a claim to any?
