Axanthic Projects

PHLdyPayne Jul 05, 2007 03:57 PM

Curious what people are doing with Axanthics this year. I know somebody was doing spider x xanthics..NERD I think, but not much else that I remember. So share your projects and pics if you like. Also, anybody Canadian who carries Axanthics would be nice to know. I can only find breeders of red axanthics

I have a monster of a male SK Axanthic that will be breeding this fall. I'm not sure the direction I will take with him just yet. I want Dbl Het for snow, but I'm not sure I want to use my sole albino female for that purpose just yet.

I think Axanthics are incredible and greatly overlooked.

Look at the developments in recent years; axanthic womas, pastel axanthics, axanthic spiders. They have a lot of potential.

I'll be breeding my male to a few different morphs this year!

Seems he may also be a shatter ball!

I have 4 eggs from my Jolliff line Super Tiger Axanthics. The parents are very reduced in pattern. These eggs are due to hatch b/t the 11th and 16th. I can't wait for them to hatch. I'll be posting pics.

I love the axanthics too, and often times I think they are over looked as a key morph. Over the last few years we have taken them into a bunch of different things, but this year we should get Axanthic Pins and Axanthic Lessers. Maybe if we really hit the odds we may see one or two more combos???? I'll keep you posted, Brian (BHB)

I have 6 eggs in the incubator from clown x VPI axanthic! Can't wait! Also waitng on eggs from my Lemon Blast x VPI axanthic. I agree, the axanthic project has been way overlooked!

I see I am not the only one who's thinking the axanthics have been falling to the way side.
