Good size for a 3 year old boa?

RubyS Jul 05, 2007 04:36 PM

Been looking around and saw an ad for a 2004 female hypo. I am planning on inquiring but what should be expected in terms of size on a snake like that?

It really all depends on the lineage of the animal the Orangetail/Gee animals tend to stay on the smaller side. Most of the Salmon line animals have been bred into Colombian stock so they tend to get a little bigger. I would say though based on age should be at least 4.5' and probably 4-5lbs at the smallest. There are a-lot of enviromental factors envolved also how warm, how much food, and like I said the animals lineage. All questions any good breeder or keeper should be more than happy to answer for you!
