I noticed my male azureus eating what looked to me like skin shed? Is this normal? I have kept other tree frogs that do things simular to this, but I havent't heard or read that dart frogs do this? Well thank you for your help

Yes, they shed and will eat the skin. It's just not as obvious as it is with other frogs and herps.
