Do dart frogs shed??

Shlacon Aug 18, 2003 10:13 AM

I noticed my male azureus eating what looked to me like skin shed? Is this normal? I have kept other tree frogs that do things simular to this, but I havent't heard or read that dart frogs do this? Well thank you for your help

Yes, they shed and will eat the skin. It's just not as obvious as it is with other frogs and herps.

The first time you see them do it you think they are going to die.
