Fatter isn't necessarily healthier. Waterdragons in captivity tend be overweight, which greatly shortens their life span. With that in mind what are you currently feeding him and how often?

Hey everyone!

Our CWDs eat every other day - usually two to three large pinkies (just below fuzzy status I would say) each time. They are about 24 inches long and roughly 1.5 years old. They seem a little bulky but not obese. Any thoughts on how much I am feeding them? Here is a pic of the boy

He is skinny considering how much he eats. I feed mine three fuzzies a week. You should have him checked for parasites. You can get panacure and metrondiazole without a perscription and they will treat the most likey suspects, I would try that first and then take him to a vet if he doesn't improve.

my dragon eats every other day, he usually gets vegies and meal worms or crickets (always gut loaded) and ocasional pinkies but i'm going to start giving him more, maybe once a week.
