This is Xenochrophis vittata aka the Indonesian Garter Snake. This evening she wiggled a nest area with her body in the mulch/orchid moss mix and laid 6 nice eggs. These are fish and frog eaters and most take to pinks very quickly especially if scented with a fish or frog. I had one for a pet for 10 years or more and it never went over 3 feet long. This momma was gravid when imported though and I've really never tried to breed these but I am going to keep momma and get a male and see what happens in a couple months.
