kimberly personalities

I was wondering what the kimberly rock monitors are like in regards to temperament and ease of handling. I have a trio of yellow ackie monitors, and I absolutely love them! Are kimberly's similar to ackies?

They seem to have more intelligence than ackies to me. They are more deliberate in their actions, slow exploring and even thier looks at you. Although they can be much quicker than the ackie tanks.

As far as handling, they can be relatively calm until you grab them or they can be on the skittish side. Not overly spastic like some dwarfs like blackheadeds. Plan on enjoying the display they make and keep the handling to a minimum.

Just my experience though, they are all individuals.

They are slower and more deliberate/graceful vs. an Ackie when not spooked. Mine approaches me to see what's up every time i reach in to clean and change the water while my red Ackies dart to cover (unless they spot food).
