lance_portal Jul 06, 2007 03:49 PM

I just got a male chahoua and am playin' with the idea of breeding him to some of my crested, a crested x chahoua. I know alot of people HATE the idea of doin this, i was looking for info on what others have came up with and what to expect.

ps...what local might he be?

I believe this has been done before, but can't remember it they look better or not.

Personally, I see no point in creating hybrids...but I know others find it can enhance appearances etc. However, many hybrids can't reproduce either with any of the parent species or even with each other or all of the above.

If you do decide to create hybrids, label them as hybrids. NO offspring of a hybrid will be anything but a hybrid, even if the other species is very dilute genetically.
