some people do it for money...to breed & sell many different, popular color morphs...others (like myself) keep lots of corns b/c they are addicting (lol) and easy to care for...plus i use mine for education...especially w/topics like genetics, conservation, etc etc. Corns are a great reptile to introduce to people who have fears or misconceptions about them...corns are very non-threatening and do not get too large either....just some reasons...but i am sure you'll get MANY others...lol

It all started with just one...but then I thought hey, would be cool to breed them...and the more corns I saw it became, ooh, I like that one, I just gotta get it...and visiting my buddy John Meltzer who kept showing me trays and trays of deli cups with cute baby corns and...well I just kept adding deli cups to my stack in my hands...

ah, my wife doesn't mind...I've only got about 50 reptiles, and the work they entail keeps me at home instead of in the bars or out doing some silly thrill sport...cept when it comes duck hunting time...he he he... I enjoy the variety of colors and the ease of breeding, and I'm addicted to hatching out babies every year, always looking forward to seeing noses poking out of eggs...
