Hot Chocolate - not the skate video..

byron.d Jul 06, 2007 10:58 PM

I cant figure this one out.... Got a pair from a broker listed as Chocolate Cal kings. Both are solid - and I mean solid, brown. The female (here) is lighter than the male but both are just stunning.
Even the tongues are light brown.

The flash on the white bedding darkened her up a bit.

That's just awesome!!!! If it were mine I would breed it to a normal just to figure out the genetics on it. Newport's aren't genetic, I wonder if these are.

In next few seasons - lucky dog!
I'm going to put him with about five different females including a Mexican Black to see if I can hammer out the genes.
So far he's dialed in for; Nitida, Davis, SD Coastal, and blizzard.

They still look like the hypo Mex. Blks. I once saw..

thanks bro!

That cal. king is awesome byron. I haven't seen that much chocolate goodness since my last trip to Hershey, Pa.
Post some more pics of that beauty.

Thanks Steve. I need to get her and her mate outside to see if I can get some better photos in natural light.

Cool, I have a male adult like that and last year I produced a male like that. This year I should produce a few more.
