I have heard that paprika boosts the red colors of frogs...
Is there anything that does this for blues??

Where do I get that?
how do I feed it to them?
Jamie
How do you feed the algae? Mix it in with you fruit fly medium, the fly will ingest it. Another way is to dust the insects.
You can purchase the stuff at a health food store, or contact other people on the forum for some. We do have some if you are interested.

hi,
i also wanted to know how much spirulina powder do you put in to feeding your dart frogs tadpoles each time ?and how many time each week?
thanks,
phil
I eyeball it, and mix it in with my vit/calcium supplements. I just get the stuff a little green. Id guesstimate 20% of my supplement mix is this stuff. I do 50/50 chlorella/spirulina. Also, I crush some bee pollen in the mix. I figure, if the frogs eat bugs in nature, theyre probably getting a little pollen with their bugs.....
Also, definitely add pinhead crix to your feeding regimen, and gutload the crix with something recommended on a few of the sites out there. This way, youre getting them max nutrition. I thought I had a dwarfed or stunted azureus a few years ago, but she turned into a MONSTER when I started doing this. Almost a 50% size increase. Since then, my frogs ALWAYS get crix at least 3X per week.
