Fringe-toed eggs

reptoman Jul 07, 2007 09:34 AM

I just had two more eggs laid this morning, the one that is larger and by itself was laid at the end of May and I expect it to hatch soon.Thought I owuld share, this has been a difficult lizard to breed, especially the females are nototious for layibng them right under the light, so you have to be on gaurd, fortunately the one female liad in the damp sand under a rock I had provided her, and my second female is gravid and I expect one or two eggs as well. The size of the eegs for the size of the female are pretty incredible.....Cheers ALl! I am using a 1:1 ration on substrate and water, and temps for incubation is 86 degrees or 30 degrees centigrade....hatch is usually between 45-55 days.
