Water size?

jaflores85 Jul 07, 2007 12:57 PM

I have a 23" to 25" baby ball. I house her in a 10 gallon tank for now. What would be the proper size water container for her size? Thanx

You can get a small bowl or dog dish, maybe 4-5" diameter and 3-4" deep, from the dollar store. You can use a bigger one if you want to its your call and helps w/humidity.

Just remember, Ball Pythons do not usually soak (at one time, I used to think they wanted to soak). If you see your snake constantly soaking itself, it may have mites or ticks.

Good luck!
