Interested in a Ball Python

Doug89 Jul 07, 2007 05:02 PM

Hey guys... it's been a longgg time since i've posted up here.

Anyways... I have had a Leucistic Texas Rat Snake for the last.. oh 2 years or so and she's doing great! I've managed to tame her fairly well and she's rarely aggressive but even when she is she's all show and no action.

Anyways... I have always thought ball pythons were cool looking and from what i've read friendly and good pets with not too much ridiculous upkeep, fairly easy to take care of.

So my question is... which kind should i get? I'm not looking to get the standard morph or whatever, something different but also something that wont cost me a TON of money.

Thanks for the help!

Pastels are the most bang for your buck. They are striking to look at and they are a must to breed with other morphs. They sell for 200.00 on up. The prettier they are the more it will cost you.

Not for sale, future breeders. Good luck and happy shopping. Claude

I have a spider and like it very well. The price on spiders are going down. They are great eaters, and very inquisitive. You should get what you want, even if you have to save for a while. Enjoy.
