I saw your pic in this link:

I think that it is one of the most realistic vivariums that I have seen. I have a few questions that I woild like you to answer.

1. How do you feed the lizards? As I see it there will be lots of places to hide for the insects.

2. Are the rocks "glued" together or are they just put on top of each other?

3. Is it fake plants? If not what kind are they and how do you keep them alive?

I hope that you will answer these questions, as I would like to make a vivarium like that myself.

Thanks for the compliment and here are your answers:

1. How do you feed the lizards? As I see it there will be lots of places to hide for the insects.

The front is low "plain' and they have an area get them before they get away. Also I have a sunken hidded artichoke jar that the crix fall into at night to be retreved..

2. Are the rocks "glued" together or are they just put on top of each other?

Not glued. The rocks are all thick and flat and stack nicely. I got from a quarry

3. Is it fake plants? If not what kind are they

Real plants: two different species of Sanseveria. Also Jade. in my big Viv. Some are in tupperware tubs of dirt buried others are in pockets of dirt in the sand..

and how do you keep them alive?

Talking to them dosn't seem to work well so I added really bright lights. with the merc. vapors, ceramic heaters and halogen spots for uvb and heat I have 2 55w compact flour. in small viv and 4 55w compact flour and 2 4ft flour for plants that keeps them growing strong. When the window is open in my house you can see my cage from very far away outside.

Good luck with your viv
