snake body temp

What should my snakes body temp usually be around because i got a Temp Gun and i would like to make sure there body temps are correct could someone let me know

-- my snake is 6 feet long

--i also got a 18 inch ball

Your snake's body temperature should be the same temperature as it's surroundings. It's.... COLD BLOODED.

Snakes and reptiles in general are poikilotherms, meaning there body temp is dependant on atmospheric temperatures, but are infact a couple of degrees higher. It is by this means that a female can incubate her eggs by increasing temp with muscular contractions similar to how we shiver.
