Developing Corn Snake Eggs

Does anyone know when the corns develope pigment? Do they get it right when they hatch, or weeks before. Sorry, Im just wondering, the eggs are kind of hard to see through

not sure I get your question. But, corn snakes are the color they will be as soon as they hatch. They do have a dull appearance, but as soon as they do their post hatch shed, they have their full color.
Now, corns' colors change and grow as they mature. an older snake will not look exactly the same as it does as a baby.
Hope this helps

I know snakes are born with their colors. Im talking about IN the egg, before you can see them.

Pigment and pattern are one of the last things to develop when the snake is in the egg. You will not to able to determine what morphs you have until the snakes hatch. In some cases you may have a "window" (translucent part of the egg that you can see through), but most of the time it's a white egg that you can not see through.

To futher this a little..
There have been times when people have slit eggs that didn't hatch only to find what they thought were snows, when snows shouldn't be. It usually just means the snake died before the pigment came in.
