Hi just had my cream/butter combo lay her 2nd clutch yesterday. Any one here have luck with a 3rd clutch or maybe more? Her 1st clutch was 23 and 2nd was 22 although eggs were kind of small. Should i keep tossing in the male?

It's very unlikely that a corn will triple clutch.

I would say give her a break. Seems shes already done great for you. You dont want her to loose so much energy this year, it compromises her next breeding season.

Burm baby burm...
I don't want to overdo her. I was curious since i have read that with pueblans their has been cases of up to 4 clutches with 3 clutches being very common. Thanks for the replies. Hector
Three clutches is far from common in Pueblans and I've never heard of four. I've been breeding them for 15 years. Just because some snakes (like African House Snakes) are engineered to produce multiple clutches, doesn't mean all snakes are. And this would be especially unlikely for snakes from temperate regions (like corn snakes).

A big part of the african house snakes being able to produce so many clutches is that they don't have to put as much work into the eggs. The eggs take around 6 months to incubate if I remember correctly....
