Best Heating Option

I picked up some ball pythons at the White Plains show this morning and have a quick question. I have each snake in its own 10g, but I'm curious the best way to heat them, while keeping humidity. I was thinking of using Zoo Med UTH on the SIDE of each tank to heat adequately? These are what I have in mind.

I also considered those ceramic bulbs, but in the past found that they were too dry for non desert species.

U. under
T. tank
H. heating

Do exactly that then the snakes can "lay" on the warm end and move to the other if they ever need too, I dont think you can produce enough ambeint temp to keep them warm by placing it on the side.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to run the UTH under the tank, Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have a few more snakes to house and a RACK to keep them all cozy!
