I love mud snakes, they are just too cool in person! I have only caught one but it was in south Texas, in Refugio county, I think it was washed down in a flood.

yeah, they are too cool. todd, i looked up your "re-fear-io" county in "texas snakes" (werler and dixon) and it looks like there have been one or two recorded in your county.

Yeah, western mudsnakes are one of my favorites.
