You can't house males together. They will fight till one ends up dead.

You could put two females together..but there are many reasons not to. They may not get along and can fight, causing minor bite wounds or just stress on the subordinate female...or severely mangle each other. If one is overly aggressive or dominant, it can stress out the other, causing it not to eat, fail to bask and eventually just plain fail to thrive.

Even females who do get along for a few years can suddenly decide they don't like each other and fight.

There is also the problem of cross contamination if one is sick, then both have to be treated, etc.

It can be done, but the cage needs to be very large (at least 5'x2' of floor space) with multiple basking sites and feeding areas.

I don't recommend keeping multiple females together...especially to first time bearded dragon owners. When you are very experienced in spotting the early signs of illness in dragons, then it isn't as bad, as you can see when your dragons are stressed and separate before problems get too big.
