Tim,
..Many of us have bought from Will but I am not sure what sort of discount you can count on for just a pair.

I think your time would be better spent emailing Will directly on the price of his snakes. He will let you know what the status of the animals are, and if he has decided at this point, he can price them out for you (if not, I am sure he can let you know when he does price them).
He is great to deal with and really good about communicating with you - just send an email with your questions. His email is will@ectotherms.net

cant some1 just go over there and when they are getting there snake sneak out a pair for me lol i was so thinking about getting into dwarf retics but now i might have to change my mind grrr why so man decisions why cant it be easy to decide what kind of snake you want
lol
Tim,
..I have owned Diamond Pythons and Diamond Carpet crosses and Irian Jayas and Jungle Carpets. The Jungles and IJs and crosses were all easy to keep healthy and breed. The Diamonds all did well while they were young but were difficult to keep alive long enough to successfully reproduce. The only success I had was one nice clutch I got from a Jungle bred by a male full Diamond. You have probably noticed that there are very very few people who breed Diamonds. Many of us tried and failed. If you are up for the challenge and can take the big $$ loss if you fail go for it. If not the dwarf Retics might be the better choice.

i have been obbcessed with diamonds since the first day i ever saw them. wonder why they died? any one know what was goin on there and why they were so hard to take care of? and honestly i think paying 1k each for a pair of true captive bred diamonds is alot better than buying a boelens python for 3k wich is hatched from a wild adult and have to deal wiht even more problems THO the boelens is much better looking i feel that chances are better with a diamond. both breeding and keeping alive. I did just get a e-mail from will tho and he says that all his adults are evil as sin and all diamonds are like that wich had me confused cause never once have i heard that one about them
Yeah Tim, Will is a good honest straight forward kind of guy and I have also bought from him too and planned again a few months back but unfortunately it didn't happen but I have a DISCOUNT next purchase with him-but you can't have it
lol
Bob
lol cmon you know you wanna give it away. lol thats ok my last discount from a breeder i wouldnt give away either now i just have to save up for the rest of the payment plan yeah im poor it isnt even a really $$$$ snake either. think he would take annoying family members as trades? lol
if the reason is they stay small, I would shy away and be very careful, some get as big as 12 to 14 feet, while still small compared to some mainland types, not exactly dwarfs if you ask me, I have noticed that the most jampea lines seem to get pretty large, with females over 12 feet being common, smallest I have seen are called super dwarfs from Kayaudi island or similar islands nearby.
good dwarf link to read

well ihae liked retics for some time but always to big and yes reason being theya re smaller is why i a, thinking about getting BUT i am also looking into getting into larger snakes then i have. even the 12foot and 100lbs is alot more managable to handle house etc. only dwarf i would ocnt on stayin small is the pure super dwarf even that getting 9 foot or so and maybe 10 lbs. thanks for the link i have been looking all over for goos dwarf info ill check it out.
Tim,
..A twelve foot Retic will weigh quite a bit under 100 pounds. They really do not seem like giant snakes until they are around 15 or 16 feet and weigh more than 100 pounds. The insular Super Dwarfs at around 9 to 10 feet max are really not such big snakes. I have seen one Diamond Python that was near 10 feet long. All of my Diamonds were extremely tame.

hmmm wonder why will bird is telling me that his are so evil and diamonds are not known for taming down etc etc? as far as the 12 100lbs i was refering to a jamp tiger cross full grown adult i know mainland types at that length are lil string beans so to say. still so much thinking and tryin to figure out truths about animals seems like ppl cant decide on the truths about dwarfs and diamonds i have tlaked to more than just you and will bout diamonds and a few ppl about the dwarf retics but seems like evrytime the story changes for both animals
