Those are great looking animals, glad to see you are having sucess with a unique WC animal (to hear some opinions that's just not possible). The female has a vanilla look to her IMO. Great thing is, you are already one step ahead with these being het hypo. The sire was a VERY nice ghost BTW. Congratulations. Your clutch #10 is very interesting to me. Check you email regarding it.

I think working with WC animals can be very rewarding. It's just not for everyone. There is alot of work that has to be down with working with them, and some folks just don't want to do that much work. It's not everyone's cup of tea.
But, I feel, that if proper homework is done, correct set up, and alot of elbow grease..... working with WC animals can be very rewarding! Case in point. Congrats again!

those babies are something, but that female looks nothing like a vanilla. here is what a real vanilla from the proven line looks like. She is actually much lighter but it's hard to capture on a camera but you get the idea of what the real vanillas look like.

Sorry, I wasn't exact in my statement. That female looks like examples from a line that exhibits itself in similar manner to the Vanilla mutation. The two particular adults I am referring to are not from Chris's/Gulf Coast lineage but will most likely prove to be the same mutation with a different parental appearance...along the same lines as Cinnamon/Black Pastels. Some of those first "Labyrinth" animals that Chris had...no one would have believed they were the same thing as the Graziani line of Cinnamons back then but they did prove to be compatible...and produce the same super, just a slightly different expression in color.

There's going to prove to be as much variation in mutations as there is in normal Ball pythons. So nailing down a "look" for any of them will be difficult. I mean look at the vartiation in proven Yellowbelly or Mojave lines, some are knockout no-doubter mutations and some are difficult to discern from a slightly abberant normal...especially as adults. Anyway's it was not meant to compare Chris's line of animals to the female in the photo.

The one on the left looks similar to the "rusty ball" that the "German guy" @ ballpython.de had a while back. Just my opinion. It definately looks like something to work with. Nice job!

I really like the one on the far left... obviously keep everything back and do more breeding... quite exciting given the fact that they are het-hypo too!!

Congratulations on a great clutch and what looks like to be a new and interesting project!

Regards,
Bristen.
