A LITTLE OFF THE SUBJECT

Here are pics of a few herps we collected in a recent trip to the Dominican Republic. The snakes we're holding by the handful are the Hispaolan Vine Boa (epicrates gracilis). We collected 18 of these rare snakes in 2 days!! The other shows a gorgeous Hispanolan Boa (Epicrates s. striatus) immediately after capture. Thought this might break the monotony a bit. Thanks, Tom Crutchfield

Tom,
..Good PICs, at least of the snakes. Anytime you want to share information or photos of any of the Epics or Trops this is the right forum for it.

first imported amazon tree boa from you in the 1980's, you can't be the young guy lol .

BTW Tom, it was a red/yellow amazon under the few sheds it had stuck to it, you sold to me for like 20 dollars as a regular one, so technically, I owe you about 80 dollars, from my memory the colored ones even back then were like 100 dollars. I also got some nice ball pythons from you at the same time. I have always liked you regardless of opinions I have heard from other people. Nothing like first hand experience. I knew someone from NJ that gave me your name back then. I don't know his real name, we called him "Freak". ( meant, in a good way lol )
