I use 41 qt sterilites. Some say that the 28 and 32 qt's work fine but I like the extra size to accomodate 2 hide boxes and large water bowl. Notice I like to use shoe boxes with aspen shavings in them as opposed to aspen in the entire bin. I also like the large gladware bowls with holes cut in the top for use as water bowls. This keeps the water from sloshing out when you push/pull the bins open/closed.

small black pine in 41 qt.

They like to burrow in the aspen so I put aspen in the cool side hide box almost as deep as the box itself so they can burrow and/or still have that "close" feeling in the box while I still have the luxury of an easy clean cage using newspaper.

Yeah we do buy lots of shoes.....we have 4 kids ages 6,8,8,and 9!! Three of them are boys so we do go through a lot of shoes.....thank God fro Walmart!!
