stumped...

bizkit421 Jul 09, 2007 10:09 PM

ok... quick question for you guys...
Spot has only ate 1 time since February... I've been tryin to feed him small adult mice, f/t and fresh stunned with no luck...
I finally got another litter of baby mice and they're fuzzy size now, so I threw him a few of those live and he's inhaling them...
Any ideas on how to convince him to eat the larger mice?

he's between 3 and 3.5 feet, plenty big enough to be eating adult mice... he just acts like he's scared of them...
I know he's hungry, because as soon as the fuzzies hit his bedding he attacked them, he just won't eat anything bigger...

Hoppers, lots of hoppers, sounds like he got nailed by a big mouse and is intimidated now, feed him lots and build up till he is invulnerable! Rat pups that have hair, they don't seem to fight back yet.
