gosh, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks females are more moody than males. Thought I was just anthropomorphizing animals again...
*evil grin*
lol it's true. but i have a hypo whiteside male bull that would be little moody by rattling his tail but thats about it. i have a southern patternless pine that are the loudest hisser in my collection. but she havent done it for awhile since i held her more and have calm down.
I know what ya mean my yearly pair is the same way... my male is a sweetheart and the female is a rip...anyone know why?
GOD BLESS
CHRIS

no clue yet. i'm still learning towards pits

gai...how is your bull doing?
thanks guys and nice pics
She is doing great but I'm an idiot. She laid only 7 good eggs at one time and then burried them in the peat moss in her nest box. Right after this she came out of the nest box an sat on top of it so I never saw her lay the eggs. With a giant bull on top of the nest box I could never get a really good peek in it to see if there was eggs. Even when I did peek in, I never saw the eggs because they were burried and I couldn't lift the lid all the way with her on top. After about 6 days I went in to clean the cage and smelled a foul odour. I then found the 7 eggs that went bad burried in the nest box.
On a brighter note. She is just about to shed again and it looks a though she may have retained sperm and is about to lay a second clutch because she definately has more eggs. If they are good or not, is the question.
Stay Tuned
Andy
I too am a sonoran fan
