I have a VERY important question!!

FrostDragon Jul 10, 2007 12:24 AM

Okay, here's the deal.

I'm leaving for a vacation for exactly seven days.

Now, if you remember Sora and I - he was lost for 5 months or more, without any food or water. He lived through it all. And, moreover, he was just a baby.

This is my question.

When I leave, do I have to have someone feed Sora? I mean, it's only one week and he's an adult. He'll have fresh water, and I'll supply him with crickets and mealworms before I leave.

Also, there is no one to feed him.

I'm confident that he will be okay, but I just want to make sure.

Thank you for any help, in advance.

Well, considering the circumstances that he has been through, I would say it is fine. Make sure to feed him a lot of extra food and give him a big bowl of mealworms right before you leave so that he can snack on them. I recomend the self refillable water dishes that have the water bottle on top and they stay full for a while so that he won't run out. Hope this helps...

yes! it defidently helps!

Thank you so much!

I wanted some opinions because I was worried...

And I was going to over-supply him with food so it'll last him.

But thanks again!

An adult can go a week without food, but not water. I take a week every year to go to a reunion with the guys I was in Vietnam with and mine do fine. I feed them well before I leave and again when I get back. If you must leave excess food make it the mealworms, not crickets. Crickets can and will chew on him if left in to long without something for THEM to eat. Good luck and enjoy your vacation .

My Mate travels a lot with his job (Soemtimes 2 weeks at a time) and he buys a big bag of Crickets (About 60 in it) and throws them in before he goes. He puts food in for the crickets also so i would follow this procedure if your gonna put crickets in there. Hope this helps
