Shedding Issues

gopherlover Aug 18, 2003 01:37 PM

My sd gopher started the shedding rutine about 9 days ago. He got blue eyed for about 5 days and then they cleared up and that is the point he is at now. He has been that way for about 4 days. Is this normal? LAst time he shedded it all happened in a matter of 5 days not close to ten. Should i soak his in a bucket of warm water? I have even heard that warm tea works just as well. Is this true?

My adult SD usually takes 10 days from the first hint of hazy eyes. Last time it took 12 days. I assume you give yours a soaking dish or humid hide during this?
