I would like to know if there are any books that could be recommended on kingsnakes.

Something that would help on breeding, identifying different species, habitats etc ...

Hello,

I have personally read and recommend Milksnakes and Tricolored Kingsnakes.

I have heard very good things about Kingsnakes & Milksnakes in Captivity (Professional Breeders Series) and is one of the books I am ordering this week.

Hope this helps!

Kingsnakes and Milksnakes by Ron Markel.

It's an older book, hardcover, large about 10"X12" but not very thick and it's different than the one of the same title by Bartlett and Markel. I couldn't find it on ebay or amazon but it's deffinitly worth having IMHO.

Also Common Kingsnakes by David Perlowin, published by AVS is very good.
