carrot99 Aug 18, 2003 02:45 PM

Can a red eyed tree frog be kept together with one anole in a 10 gallon tank?

Red Eyes are too delicate and shouldn't be mixed with anything.(Actually no species should ever be mixed) Depending on the size of your REs they should have a min. of 20 gallon for one adult and 10 gallons aditional per adult.

Why would you do that? They need totally different environments and could transfer parasites to eachother.

That is a very definite no, and they shouldn't be in a 10-gallon unless they're juveniles. Please be smart about this, because RETFs are very sensitive, anoles are very territorial, and the animals wouldn't fare well through it at all!
