might not like having anything stuck to his face, i have one beardie that is very particular about eating, if its anywhere aside from his mouth he shakes his head to get it off, your guy might just be wiping his face after munching

Yeah, soem beardies are very sensitive and need to be clean when they eat..but others, like one of mine, don't care. Right now she has rasberry juice all over her face.

rep cal pellets. why?????

GoldDragon Aug 19, 2003 05:46 PM

The reason I asked about the pellets is to find out what size you are feeding him. My dragons had a hard time eating the large adult pellets so I switched to the juvenile ones. Now they just stick out their tongue and they stick to it. Maybe when he eats the large size pellets, it gets onto the side of his face and he is just trying to wipe it off.

The question on the shedding is maybe he is trying to get the old skin off his face. Mine always try to rub their head onto things to help try and get it off.

Hope this helps...
Steve
