That one looks like a female. I hope you didn't buy it captive born as a male or I would be going after that unscrupulous breeder!

Hey Mike, if you head to the Permian basin, let me know I'll take ya out, show you some really neat rocks/flowers/bugs/cactus ha ha....on a side note the observation of herps during the search for such items is always a plus.

I actually took that pic on the road that I will be at, Should be fun. Ill hunt tonight, tomorrow and saturday night. Me and my brother. I will also be trying to pair up this guy I got two years ago on the same road.

I use the term hunt loosely, more ilke observing and photographing. I saw a lepidus (actually saw it twice) Ill post some pics when I get home. Also say a hyspiglena, and many many toads and frogs. Also saw a couple texas spineys and a crevice spiny on a cut. Unfortuanataly, I was not able to find a sutiable mate for either the milliped or the porcipine.

be careful since that spiney rodent is a vertebrate...they can't be taken from the roadway...but the myriapod is cool..ain't gotta "backbone".....i got issued a warning this year for hunting from roadway....the warden was polite and understanding of the confusion this year......maybe this issue will get resolved ...... without prejudice to a particular group
