I was waiting for Airborne to make a pick up, and as usual they were late. When I called to remind them about the pick-up, as I seem to have to do lately, Their automated service informs you that they have merged with DHL. I have used DHL in the past, and because they are an international carrier, they have a policy where they can open and inspect any package. If Airborne adopts the same policy, everyone beware. I know a lot of people who ship snakes through Airborne without Airborne knowing. When I shipped my last package through DHL, it happened to be one for a random box check. They called me at work and told me I had until they closed to come pick up they package or they would turn it over to the ASPCA. They were 2 hours away and closed in 2 hours. Luckily I got someone to go pick it up. So everyone beware, Airborne may have just gotten worse.
