Saturday we had our first eastern hatchling start to emerge: 61 days after laying, kept at a fairly constant 80 degrees, Needless to say we're very excited about this teeny tiny turtle.
The other 3 eggs have not shown signs of activity: we hadn't expected them to hatch simultaneously, so we're not surprised by that.
My question for you folks is this: how long is too long between pippings from the same clutch? In other words, what would be a reasonable period to wait before starting to worry?
