Popping noises

Hello,
We have some new captive hatched balls who make slight popping noises. It appears to happen more often when they flick their tongues. They are kept in a 10 gal tank and kept at about 85/ day and 75/night. They eat fine. My fear is RI so we will be upping their temp closer to 90 during the day 80 at night. Has anyone experienced popping in their new balls? Any thoughts on what it could be and what to do would be greatly appreciated.
