Why arent reptariums used for Leo's????

jack7777766 Aug 18, 2003 03:48 PM

I was just thinking about putting my cresties in a reptarium and I thought why cant I put my leos in one.
There lighter, easier to move and cheaper.
The humidity here in NY is 70% plus they would also have a humid hide so humidity doesnt seem to be a problem.

Is there any reason why they shouldnt be used???

Jack

P.S. Does anyone know a cheap alternative to the plastic bottoms for reptariums which cost about 20??

i imagine these arent the only reasons, but they dont hold heat well and the leos can get nose rub from them

I don't see any reason that you could not use one. Would probally be pretty cool with lights and some slate for heat. If you have the room it would be cool for a harem set-up.

Theres no reason not to use them as long as you have enough heating Pads to keep them warm.
