fastjunkie Jul 12, 2007 04:59 PM

I have a chondro that was born in Apr '06.Now I know each individual snake is different, but what is an average weight of a chondro at 1 1/2 yrs old. This particular snake is a biak-outcross and I know biak tend to grow a bit slower.
Thanx,

Hi Mike,

I don't think one race tends to grow faster or slower than another. Average weights can vary greatly depending on who you ask. I would say a healthy average would be 80-180 grams depending on the feeding schedule and the frequency in which the food size is increased. I have a several yearlings now that are 170-240 grams. These consist of zoo stock and biak/bokondini outcrosses. All animals hatched the last week of may and the second week of june 2006. I hope this helps answer your question....at least a little.
