Quick water Question

FrostDragon Jul 12, 2007 06:52 PM

I have a quick question:

Is putting a Gecko in VERY shallow warm water (and by shallow I mean only up to his feet) and letting it soak in it for a while kinda good for it? I mean, it's helped Sora with shedding skin a lot but I was also wondering if it was good for him if he was constipated...?

Thanks in advance...

Sorry to hear about your gecko being sick. I believe that warm water helps with constipation. For awhile, one of my geckos would only go in the water. Just be careful, the only thing is that water can cool pretty quickly, so don't chill him. As for if it continues, I think there are some other remedies. I think there are some commercially available products. I've also heard mineral oil works, but check around to be sure. There was someone who had a leo with impaction on a thread below, you should check it out or get in touch with them. Good luck.
