Diamond python question

zach_whitman Jul 13, 2007 12:18 AM

I have always admired diamonds from a distance but I have never kept any of the pythons in this family. I think that I would like to get a few this year and I had a question about caging. I have a three level cage with each cage measuring 5 feet long 20 inches deep and 16 inches high. Is this high enough for them if I used lots of nice branches? I have heard lots of differing info on how arboreal these guys are and how imporatant hight is.

Here is a pic of the cage. Sorry about the mess, I was moving.

those cages look fine
all you need to cage them is the same as coastals or nearly any other carpet for that matter..
